• Laser source adopts international first-line brand, offering excellent beam quality and stable output power, suitable for welding various high-reflectivity materials (copper, aluminum, and copper-clad aluminum).
• It utilizes a high-power digital scanning galvanometer for fast welding speeds and stable performance, ensuring consistent weld depth and width for battery welds, resulting in strong and aesthetically pleasing welds.
• It is equipped with a sturdy Fangtonghuang welding platform with a thickened steel plate that easily supports loads of 100-250 kg. The X, Y, and Z axes utilize high-precision silent lead screw modules and a dual gantry drive for high motion accuracy.
• It comes standard with a distance sensor with an accuracy of up to 0.01 mm, easily resolving the issue of inconsistent welding heights caused by uneven battery stack heights.
• It utilizes an industrial motherboard and industrial control computer for stable performance and long-term operation. The easy-to-learn software makes it easy to master welding connectors, studs, nickel sheets, copper sheets, aluminum sheets, and copper-aluminum composite sheets.
Application
Laser welding is applied to new energy lithium batteries for the following processes:
• Nickel tabs/connectors: Joining nickel tabs for connections.
• Copper-aluminum connectors: Connecting copper and aluminum pieces.
• Tabs : Welding the tabs on battery cells.
• Poles : Attaching battery poles.
